Dear
Colleague:
As a professional involved in day-to-day activities of volunteers, you are no doubt aware of the ongoing skills needed to effectively manage your program. As a result of a 2004 special focus group of volunteer administrators, who met to discuss how effective obtaining resource information, an ©Essentials in Volunteer Management Certificate Program was developed to enhance the core competencies required in the workforce.
Now
in partnership with Notre Dame College in Cleveland, this comprehensive
seven-week certificate program or optional Notre Dame College Undergraduate
Three-Credit Course is scheduled to begin in April 2008 on the following
Fridays: April 25, May 2, May 16, May 23, May 30, June 6 and June 13 at
Notre Dame College, 4545 College Road, Cleveland, OH 44121 and is a
collaborative program between the instructors and the class participants.
With the latest “best practices” tools to effectively manage the daily operation
of your volunteer program, this first of its kind, successful program in
northeast Ohio offers a quality, quantifiable, affordable certificate program
for all skill levels that results in your ability to effectively and
successfully manage your volunteer program in most any organization, as well as
increase your personal and professional credibility.
We cordially invite you to register in the Essentials in Volunteer Management Certificate Program or optional Notre Dame College Undergraduate Three-Credit Course, knowing how highly motivated you are to have the latest tools and information in the field of volunteerism, and because of your commitment to grow in the profession.
